Summary

The project aims to give an authorizing role to cities using the reformed and innovative organizational methods of economy of proximity as they have the legitimacy to respond to the expectations of fellow-citizens, political power and the capacity to organize governance of their territories.

 Summary The project brings together former mining regions who wish to preserve and promote their patrimony in order to create new sources of wealth. It will allow the creation of a network and the practical tools required for the development of mining-heritage sites.  Summary The aim of this project is to set up a scientifically based protocol for the evaluation of realistic options for the abatement of environmental impacts in air and water from livestock wastes. The expected outcome will be the increased knowledge of the site- and circumstance-specific mitigation potential of technologies that can reduce the environmental impact of farming housing and manure management systems.
