ARCOPOL final conference
Tools to repond to coastal pollution from maritime accidents
This Conference is taking place 2 months before the closing date of the project and aims to disseminate the outputs generated after 3 years of cooperative work between 8 regions of the Atlantic Area. The audience will learnt about the ARCOPOL Atlantic Network, tools developed to improve the preparedness and response management of incidents involving HNS and oil on the sea, about guides for training and awareness raising in accidental maritime pollution, the research carried out in ecological damage, and about guides for competent authorities to succeed in obtaining compensation for damages suffered after maritime incidents. It aims to be a pleasant showcase to present how ARCOPOL is capitalising on shared regional experience and capabilities to improve the preparedness and response to maritime pollution in the Atlantic Area.
